I'm just looking for suggestions for easy (not too intense or extreme) computer games. I'm 26 and going on a super long car trip and we're not stopping. I'll bring the games with me and my laptop. I'm going to be bored and antsy so I want something not too challenging, but still fun.
In the past, I've really loved these games:
Sims 1, 2, and 3 and the other Sims games
Virtual Villagers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Theme Hospital
Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, 2, 3
Just silly games like that.
What games do you like, similar to the ones above that I could buy %26amp; try? Money is no object, really. But I won't have internet acess in the car.
Thanks! What's a good simple computer game?
Well, if you've a creative mind, Minecraft is always an option (you can play single-player offline). If you're in an adventuring mood, you can pick up the AGS Interactive King's Quest remakes for free, as well as Quest for Glory II. Stepmania might be an interesting option (and is also free), though you might want to bring earphones with that one.
Other than emulation, that's about it from me. Whatever you decide to play, I hope you enjoy the trip!
Minecraft is a polarizing game in that respect and I can see why some people wouldn鈥檛 like it. For everyone else, this is more than worth checking out. There aren鈥檛 any fancy visuals or top-tier sound design or even amazing competitive multiplayer (although there is multiplayer in the game, though I haven鈥檛 tested it) to hook gamers and draw them in. What Minecraft does have are simplistic, easy to pick up and play game mechanics that are hard to put down once you鈥檝e gotten started. What's a good simple computer game?
