How to get alot of food in virtual villagers 3?

I've been playing since yesterday and i can no longer get honey from the beehive, and there is no fruit in the trees. I've already had the cheif produce magic food, and there is already 0 food in the bin! I bought the first level of nature with my tech points, and now i only have around 5,000. How do i get more food? I dont have any tech points to spend on things and i dont know what to do. Im not intrested in downloading patches or things. Also, does it take a really long time to gain tech points? i can't ever see myself with 50,000? please help, thanks :)How to get alot of food in virtual villagers 3?
U should hv 3 fruit trees. To get the other 2, u'll need to fix the lift. So, earn 7000 tech points and train 3 villagers to be adapt builders. Send the rest to do research. Send anyone who is an adapt builder to research as well. It'll take about an hour for 3 adapt scientis to get 2000-3000 tech points on fast speed.



Once u get 7000 pts, buy restoration level 2 and send 3 adapt builders to fix the lift. When it rains, quickly get a villager to stand on the lift to get the fruit tree seed. U should have 3 fruit trees in ur orchard in total. It takes 3 hours on fast speed for the trees to bear fruits from the time u plant it. After the 3rd tree is planted, any fruits that u drop from the lift will be taken to the food bin.



If u already hv leadership level 2 and 3 adapt farmers, u can do the rain dance to get rain. If u don't, just wait for rain the old fashion way.



While waiting for your tree to grow, keep looking for mushrooms. If your villagers health bar lessen, prepare the potion of 2 Lotus + 1 Cactus and hv them drink it. It will increase their health. Good luck!
