Why do people think that it is alright to have a one night stand?

i dont really understand... why would u do this? surely u shud have sex because u love the person..not just coz u need to releave some sexual tension or whatever ur reason may be?

Now I'm not saying that sex is meaningless, but some people just need to fill the urge. If both persons agree that the sex is casual, I don't see the harm.Why do people think that it is alright to have a one night stand?
How romantic - and naive! If two people of their own free will decide to do it - that is their right as free human beings!



They also have a right not to be criticised for doing so by romanticists and bigots!!!

I dont agree either, but thats the outlook ppl have no a days. No one wants to have any ties to ppl, I blame it on cheating, but hey, you can either join in or be alone. Casual sex is like dating!
Well not all people have the intent of a one night stand. For a lot of people, you don't know it is a one night stand until after it happens. That goes for both men and women. I feel women think they had a one night stand more than guys cause its the norm, most guys do it once and know thats all it is without letting their parner know. And another main reason is one or both realize it was a mistake or they just are not compatible. So this is my new view on it and I accept it for what it is. I agree with you ... I don't know if you are spiritual or not but sex was designed to be shared with someone special ... Its not special anymore when you are giving it up to any and everybody ....
Not all people approve of one night stands..
lets say you have been busy with work,non stop, and you are a very attractive person but have no time , need, or want for a relationship. one night you are out with your friends and you want some action! You have a one night stand no strings attached! all your sexual frustration is gone and you can continue to be busy with no b/f or g/f interruptions! ONE NIGHT STANDS ARE NECESSARY!
Most people aren't looking for the relationship and enjoy the pleasure of sex. Some guys find women very attractive and want to have sex with them while at the same time find their personality to be boring. So why have a relationship with someone you can't stand? When you can have amazing sex and only have to deal with them for only a shor time.



And yes, this only really works out well when both understand that its a "One Night Stand."
Anyone who wants to be with you just to relieve sexual tension is not considering you before themselves. I am a man of much experience, and unless he considers you and what makes you happy, then he is selfish. Too many men do not consider the needs, wants, desires of their lady before their own immature sexual release. Ladies, find yourself a man that satisfies you first, then himself. Men, don't be in such a rush, satisfy, and satiate your Lady first....
