Step by step directions for virtual villager 5 :new believers?

i did alott of start overs and i have no idea how to play the game! should i like.. torn down the knowing totem first or the hungry totem and how do i get six children to torn down the hollow totem when all i have is noni berries as a food source ?! And how do i get the lightning?And rain? and how do i convert the orange heathens? In general you always want to start by increasing your food sources first. You shouldn't increase your population too much before you can feed them properly.

You won't be able tear down all the totems down at once. Grow slowly or you WILL be forced to restart.

All miracles become available as soon as your max energy becomes high enough to use it. There are three ways to increase your max energy that I remember. 1. Increase your population. 2. Collect relics with children. 3. Improve the quality of the statue. There might be a tech that does it as well.

Orange Heathens are converted by the Earthquake miracle, which you will likely not have until very late, or even post, game. Red heathens are orange heathens that do not wander around. Purple heathens convert through puzzles. Blue heathens convert by dropping villagers on them, waiting for the light to appear, then waiting until the light clears and repeating until they convert.
